Ok, Clever Tribe- I am enjoying a very cold beer at Twin Peaks with some very Clever Guys and we are talking football. The general opinion here is Alabama is overconfident- they shot their load with Florida.
Texas needs to manage the clock, throw early and set up the run. Score on special teams- find a way to contain Ingram. Stop the run. Time consuming scoring drives.
I had the chance to talk with Erin Hogan, ESPN Austin, at the top of the hour and he had a few interesting things to share. If Alabama plays their best game, they will win- but he thinks they already played their best game, so he is taking Texas 20-16. I sure hope he’s right.
We will talk about Leach and Tiger tomorrow because, frankly, there is so much content here- I’ve got to get back to it.
